Johns Hopkins University donates for Röntgen's birthplace

Johns-Hopkins-UniversityBy donating  €7.000 the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, USA is a new donator with platinum status for Röntgen's birthplace. On behalf of Dr. Karen Horton (Interim Chair of Radiology and Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science) and Prof. Jonathan Lewin (Professor of Biomedical Engineering) the "Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science" paticipates in conserving the historic landmark in Remscheid-Lennep.

The Johns Hopkins University is an American private research university in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1876, the university was named after its first benefactor, Johns Hopkins. His $7 million bequest—of which half financed the establishment of The Johns Hopkins Hospital—was the largest philanthropic gift in the history of the United States at the time.
